Announcing Publication of a New Children's Book
Leroy the Cowboy: Children and Horses
Leroy the Cowboy, famous for his cowboying all over the American
Southwest, is ready to teach his son, Hurley, soon to be nine,
how to ride a horse and be a cowboy. Hurley invites four of his
friends to share these "Leroy the Cowboy" lessons.
Kate, Lucy, Greg and Carlos gather at Leroy's ranch during the
summer after third grade ends and learn about companionship with
horses, as well as with themselves and each other.
Although the stories in this book are fictionalized, all the
characters, horses and experiences are based on reality. The
factual information about horses has been based on the authors'
research and reviewed by experienced cowboys and horsemen.
